ExaVir Load proven effective for routine Viral Load in India

This was the result of a comparative study carried out by the Department of Microbiology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, India. This result is one of a series of studies demonstrating the same conclusions - that ExaVir Load is an effective VL test in resource-limited settings.

Cavidi and Burnet Institute sign CD4 license agreement

Leading Swedish HIV diagnostic company Cavidi today announced the signing of a license agreement for a technology in the detection of CD4 T-cell levels. The CD4 test, developed by the Burnet Institute in Melbourne, Australia, and a long time partner to Cavidi, can be added to Cavidi’s Viral Load test on the next generation automated bench top instrument.

PartnerTech and Cavidi develop unique instrument for HIV-test

Uppsala, Sweden –based Cavidi has developed a unique technology for measuring the amount of HIV-virus, whereby a simple test-kit enables a follow-up on how patients respond to treatment and thereby determine if the virus has mutated and become resistant to existing treatment.
