Expanding Detection Capabilities: Exazym® now offers Kits for Luminex, SMCxPRO, and Gyrolab

Cavidi has recently expanded its Exazym® product line with two significant additions: the APC Detection Kit for Gyrolab/SMCxPRO and the PE Detection Kit for Luminex platforms, complementing our existing Biotin-based detection for ELISA. These new kits reflect our commitment to making attomole-level detection of low-abundance biomarkers accessible across multiple immunoassay platforms.

The APC Detection Kit enables researchers using Gyrolab or SMCxPRO systems to leverage our BOLD technology, dramatically improving sensitivity while maintaining the workflow advantages of their current platforms. Similarly, the PE Detection Kit brings the power of BOLD to Luminex-based assays, offering researchers the ability to detect previously undetectable biomarkers without investing in specialized equipment.

These innovations come at a perfect time as Cavidi prepares to present at the SLAS Europe 2025 Conference in Hamburg, Germany (May 20-22). Our Principal Scientist, Peter Stenlund, will discuss “Enabling Ultrasensitive Neurological Biomarker Detection by Application of Binding Oligo Ladder Detection (BOLD) Technology” – particularly relevant as pTau biomarkers gain recognition for their role in early Alzheimer’s detection.

The presentation will showcase how BOLD technology can amplify immunoassay signals up to 100 times while maintaining low background noise – a critical factor when working with scarce biomarkers like pTau(181). Most importantly, this enhanced sensitivity requires no specialized equipment or extensive training, making it accessible to any research lab.

As we expand our detection capabilities across platforms, we remain committed to our vision of democratizing ultra-sensitive biomarker detection. By enabling researchers to detect lower concentrations of critical biomarkers using their existing equipment and workflows, we’re helping advance research in neurodegenerative diseases, cancer, and other fields where low-abundance biomarkers play crucial roles.

Join us at SLAS Europe to learn how our expanding Exazym® line can transform your research by bringing attomole-level detection within reach of every lab, regardless of platform preference or budget constraints.
