Product Specification

Reagents intended for conjugation of an oligo-dT primer to a secondary antibody using Click Chemistry. For research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.

Components

  • 1 vial 75 µg lyophilised Exazym® oligo-dT Primer (DBCO-PEG-30-mer)
  • 1 vial 3 ml DMSO, anhydrous
  • 2 Spin Columns
  • 1 vial 5 mg evaporated ClickChem Label (NHS-PEG4-azide)
  • 1 vial Quenching Buffer
  • 1 tablet PBS-T to be reconstituted in 100ml distilled water

Shipping conditions

Shipped at ambient temperature.

Storage conditions

  • Oligo-dT primer is stored at -20°C. Store aliquots of primer dissolved in PBS-T at -20°C.
  • DMSO is stored at room temperature.  The vial is for single use only and any remaining DMSO should be discarded.
  • Spin Columns are stored at room temperature.
  • ClickChem Label comes evaporated and is stored at-20°C.  It is recommended to dissolve ClickChem Label in anhydrous DMSO to a 100 mM stock solution. The stock solution is stored at -20°C.
  • Quenching Buffer is stored at + 4°C
  • PBS-T blister tablet is stored at room temperature. Prepared PBS-T solution is stored at +4°C.

Shelf life

18 months from date of manufacture. Please refer to the secondary kit packing label for the manufacturing date.

Performance

It is recommended that the conjugation of the detector antibody is performed using molar excess of Click Chem Label versus detector antibody, and then in a second step, molar excess of oligo-dT primer versus azide-labeled detector antibody. The conjugation may be evaluated using SDS-PAGE electrophoresis. A typical result may look like the gel below.

  1. Molecular weight standard
  2. Detector antibody (mAb)
  3. mAb-oligo-dT 5:5
  4. mAb-oligo-dT 20:20
  5. mAb-oligo-dT 40:40
